Improving the environmental sustainability of the European beef cattle industry at the farm level, to reduce the carbon footprint of meat production (CO2 eq/per kg meat production), to reduce volatile emissions (both greenhouse gasses and ammonia emissions) coming from the beef cattle industry and to reduce nutrient excretions (especially nitrogen and phosphorus P).
