First trans-national meeting for European beef industry stakeholders 1st December 2020 – 9:30am – 4.15pm (CET)

BovINE is delighted to announce the project’s first transnational meeting to be hosted by Polish network manager, Jerzy Wierzbicki. It builds on recent national meetings held across nine European member states. Beef farmers and all stakeholders in the beef and livestock sector are invited to attend this virtual event.

The online meeting, Sustainable Beef Farming: Policy & Practice in the Context of the Green Deal, focuses on how sustainability can be improved within the industry by sharing research innovations (RIs) and good practice (GP) recommendations with stakeholders across four topics – socio-economic resilience, animal health & welfare, production efficiency and meal quality, and environmental sustainability.

The event also includes thematic networking sessions and a virtual visit to Polish beef farms.
